I think it's DR2's multiplayer. I've seen red & yellow versions of the blue guy in the picture. Some kind of zombie killing game show I think.

Yep, that's what it looks like in the video. I just have a hard time telling if it's actually DR2 multiplayer or just, like, some sort of promotional teaser thingy. If it is indeed multiplayer, it looks SWEET.

I've played bits and pieces of the first dead rising, but I liked it. And this picture looks fantastic, so it'll probably be one of the next games I get (after SvR2010 of course)

I was a big fan of Dead Rising 1 but I have to say I don't feel that hyped up for Dead Rising 2 so far. All they've shown so far are singleplayer missions which is basically "Kill # amount of zombies in # time", weird QTE-style minigames, and free for all multiplayer where you kill lots of zombies faster than the other players. And all of that looked like it would become repetitive real fast.

I think they're going bit too overboard with the gore, and they're not showing the stuff which I really liked in Dead Rising 1... which was the crazy story and ridiculous characters, the exploration aspects of the game, and the whole time element which made it very replayable. Most of the humour isn't as good so far either. I want more zombie killing with giant teddybears darnit.

Hmm, I was looking forward to free roaming with friends through zombie infested towns, talking for a while then having to fend off slowly advancing zombies with stuff we find lying around - THAT would be AWESOME. But so far it looks like a zombie FIGHTING arena, which is the dumbest thing I've ever seen zombies be applied to.
